Event Details When Sally Noach – a young Dutchman – arrived in Britain in the middle of WWII, British intelligence officers doubted his claim to have secured the release of hundreds of imprisoned Jews in southern France.

Now, nearly forty years after his death, his daughter Lady Irene Hatter has retraced his steps and uncovered the truth behind her father’s wartime exploits in this new documentary; tracking down some of the estimated 600 people he saved.

This extraordinary film sees Lady Hatter travel to Amsterdam, the French Pyrenees, Lyon, San Francisco and Miami – where she uncovers a story of great suffering, betrayal and heroism.
