Event Details Pinner Synagogue's commemoration will focus on the plight of children during the Holocaust and the role of Oeuvre de Secours aux Enfants, a French-Jewish humanitarian organisation tasked with rescuing children. Our key note speaker will be Mrs Eva Mendelsson who was 9 when she, together with her mother and sister, was deported to Gurs, an internment camp in South-West France, and from there to the camp of Rivesaltes. A number of distinguished visitors and diplomatic representatives will be attending. Eva will illustrate her experiences with slides and the evening promises to be informative and very moving.

Doors will open at 7:15pm for a prompt start at 8:00pm. Following the formal proceedings, refreshments will be served.

No pre-booking required.
