Event Details Yom HaShoah ceremony in Leeds is a central event which engages many groups from our Jewish community but also non - Jewish communities.
This year we will have a few people who went on the Poland trip talking about their experiences and thoughts, a documentary about 3 Holocaust survivors from our community, produced with The Zone (Leeds Jewish youth centre, songs and prayers.
The main purposes of the ceremony are to make sure no one will forget what happened there and also to make people realise it can happen again - anywhere, anytime.
